Room Booking guidelines
Rooms may be booked by both students and staff for group study. If your booking includes non-University visitors (NHS employees, for example) please inform the Library beforehand to arrange Visitor passes for the duration of the booking.
To make a booking:
- Please visit our Group Study Rooms Booking page.
- Select the room, date and time required (up to 2 weeks in advance).
- Bookings are for 30 minute periods. The maximum amount of time you can book a room is up to 4 hours in a 24 hour period (from the time a booking ends).
- Fill out the booking form.
- A confirmation email will be sent to your University email address. Click the unique link within one hour to confirm your booking.
- If you need to cancel or amend your booking, you can do so by clicking a link in that email.
Library Foyer/Bake sale guidelines
The Main Library permits University societies or clubs to run a bake sale in the foyer.
To make a booking:
- Please visit our Foyer Booking page.
- Select the date and time required (up to 4 months in advance).
- Bookings are for the entire day, 9am to 5pm. Bookings are limited to one per week and three events per semester.
- Fill out the booking form.
- A confirmation email will be sent to your University email address. If you need to cancel or amend your booking, you can do so by clicking a link in that email.
