Panopto Essentials for Academics in the School of Humanities, Social Sciences and Law

This session enables participants to develop an understanding of the video management components in Panopto and consider the educational benefits of incorporating video into their teaching. You will have the opportunity to:

  • Create video content by recording, publishing, and sharing materials.
  • Transfer and store video recordings from Class Collaborate to Panopto.
  • Analyse and interpret video engagement statistics at both the module and individual video level.
  • Edit videos using the Panopto video editor by making cuts, adding video streams, inserting chapter points, and applying captions.
  • Enhance recordings by adding interactive elements such as quizzes and reflective prompts.
